This SDS+ Rotary hammer drill features Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) which enables the hammer drill to connect to compatible dust extractors with Bluetooth. The dust extractor automatically runs while the switch is on. . The Makita brushless rotary hammer has a brushless motor which is precision engineered to be up to 50% more efficient than a comparative model. Without brushes in place to apply friction a brushless motor can produce a greater measure of torque per weight. This 40v hammer and case has a variable speed control with different speed settings; this improves the user’s experience, increases task speed and increases productivity throughout the day. Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS): Makita’s AWS uses Bluetooth technology for wireless power-on and power-off communication between the planer and dust extractor. Once connected, your dust extractor will automatically power on or off when your cordless tool starts or stops, running only when your cordless tool is in use.
