The Makita HS012GZ 40V 165mm Circular Saw Bare Unit. For professional carpenters and kitchen fitters that need to make long cuts in thick boards, this is an ideal cordless power tool. The brushless motor gives it excellent power and allows it to generate a no-load speed of 5,200rpm while the constant speed control maintains this performance. Both these features allow the saw to work quickly and efficiently in thick wooden boards.
Features
- High Power Output – The high power 40V Max XGT Li-Ion battery allows for continuous operation in heavy-duty applications. With cutting speeds up to 40% faster than the 18V equivalent.
- Lightweight Design – The base & blade case are made of magnesium reducing the overall weight of the tool while maintaining strength & rigidity.
- Positive Bevel Stop – Allows for fast & accurate bevel adjustment to common bevel angles. With a maximum bevel capacity of 0-50°, positive stops at 22.5° & 45°.
- Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) – Compatible with AWS the HS012G can be paired with a compatible vacuum for on demand dust extraction. AWS uses Bluetooth to wirelessly power on & off the extraction unit using the tools trigger. (AWS receiver sold separately)
- Constant Speed Control – Constant speed control maintains blade speed under load for optimum cutting performance.
- Soft Start – Blade starts slowly then rapidly accelerates to maximum speed to reduce the initial start up shock.
- Electric Brake – Maximises productivity & user safety by rapidly slowing the wheel rotation after the switch has been released.
